First Mutual 84,894.49
Accounts Receivable: 34 homeowners 6,587.85
Old Past Due amounts: 2,305.28
(2 homeowners, liens have been filed)
The Treasurer made a motion that he would move $20,000 to an interest bearing account. The motion carried.
Playground structure update: The site needs to be raised. Anina has an estimate from Greenbelt Services for 3 truckloads of fill @ $20/yd which will be $2000 for dirt and grading. Ed Bennett made a motion to have Greenbelt bring in dirt for the play area and soccer field upgrade at the same time which will be about 60 yards. The motion carried.
Anina suggested we go with the play structure which is on sale for around $21,000 which would include some free items. There is a 5-week lead time for the order. Anina has sent information to the insurance company.
Landscape issues--tree removal in the park where play structure will be placed will be discussed at April meeting and Anina will check with A-1 Tree service and Greenbelt for a bid. She will also ask them to check on a tree near Doc’s home that may need to be removed. Doc discussed having the bottom of the trees on the south side of the entrance trimmed for better sight when exiting the subdivision. Anina will check to see if that is part of Greenbelt’s contract.
Kent will register our HOA as a participant for National Night Out.
Kent presented an estimate for the re-roofing of The Villages sign at the entrance for $979.20. Anina questioned if this is an estimate or a quote. Jan Bennett made a motion that we accept the quote from Royal Construction. The motion passed.
Pipeline update--letters of commencement have been received. They will be filed with Treasurer.
Doc O’Connor presented a plaque to John Tomlinson for 5 years of service as President of the HOA.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
