Deerfield HOA Special Board Meeting

March 22, 2006

A special board meeting was called by President, Kent Kiernan to purge old records and decide which play structure to purchase, since the sale by Northwest Playground Equipment ends April 1, 2006.

The meeting was attended by Kent Kiernan, Anina McMurdo, Charlene Fletcher, Doc O’Connor, Jan Bennett, and Ed Bennett.

It was decided that the Board would keep records no older than 7 years. Consequently, records were kept from 1999 and newer.

A motion was made by Kent and passed to purchase the structure that is on sale for $21,649.00 and 2 free spring toys, the duck and the turtle. Site prep and installation will be an extra cost.

Installation:

Plan A--involve 15-20 homeowners to help with installation. Supervision would be furnished by the vendor.

Plan B--have the vendor furnish the complete installation, which would be a higher cost to the HOA.

It was also discussed that we would need to have an on-site dumpster available during the installation.

There was discussion about purchasing plastic border for the site from the vendor and pay to have them install it. Motion was made by Jan Bennett and passed.

The meeting was adjourned @ 8:00 p.m.
