Deerfield HOA Meeting Minutes

August 10, 2005

Meeting Began @ 7:00 PM

Attendees: John Tomlinson, Kent Kiernan, Doc O’Connor, Charlene Fletcher, Terry Fletcher, Anina McMurdo, Hope Szudzik, Parisa Zander

Treasurers Report Approved

Locked Mailboxes – Board approved the letter written by Jane Bennett to send out to homeowners in regards to the locked mailboxes.

Soccer Field Status - Closed and to use at own risk. Anina will get signs made up and posted. Alternated uses for the soccer field were brought up. Ideas included: turn it into a tennis court, or basket ball court, BBQ area with picnic tables and trees. John will find out what we can legally do with it and report back at the next meeting. Terry also suggested talking with a fellow homeowner who is a landscape architect and see what could be designed.

CC&R Violations – Board received a written letter of complaint in regards to several properties within Deerfield. Letters with copies of the CC&R’s will be sent out to the following lots.

Dev. 1 – Lot 18 for weeds and sidewalk maintenance

Dev. 1 – Lot 38 for weeds and sidewalk maintenance

Dev. 2 – Lot 28 for the boat trailer

Dev. 3 – Lot 58 for front yard condition

Dev. 4 – Lot 04 for plastic in the front yard

Williams Pipeline – A new offer has been presented and details are being worked out to finalize the paperwork.

Speed Bumps – A homeowner Parisa Zander wanted to know if we could get them installed. The board suggested she contact the City of Sammamish. She will email them tomorrow and CC a board member with any response she may receive.
