Deerfield HOA Meeting Minutes

March 9, 2005

7:00 PM

Attendees: Kent, Doc, Anina, Charlene, John, Marianne Sharping, Hope, Hui Chen, and other Deerfield Homeowners

Treasures Report:

Checking Account: $40,412.99

Savings Account: $1,225.16

Money Market Account: $17,225.32 (fence repair & play structure)

Receivables: $3,896.90

Payables: $2,506.11

Homeowners Dues:

1 lien has been filed, ten homeowners are past due and 2 homeowners have late fees to pay.

Anina will follow up with Lance to confirm the mowing schedule and report at the next HOA meeting in May.

Play Structure Status: Received a letter from the Pete Butkus with the City of Sammamish stating he would get back with us. Kent will talk with him and report at the next meeting. Anina will also email him in regards to the play structure just to keep on top of the situation.

Soccer filed: Kent has offered to add topsoil and fix the soccer field by leveling it and re-seeding it. Anina will post signs that the field is closed for the year until repairs have been completed. 4 signs need to be posted that state: CLOSED USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Anina will work with Kent to get the signs made and posted.

Entrance damage: A teenager driver was driving to fast, lost control of the car and ran into the sign and shrubs. The sign has been replaced, but a new shrub and sprinkler head need to be replaced.

CC&R Violations: Several notices have been sent out to homes that are in violation. Craig has already sent out the first mailings.

Williams Pipeline: Marianne Sharping with Williams Pipeline was present to answer additional questions in regards to the pipeline project. She reviewed the list of questions already submitted to Williams and will get back the HOA with follow answers. The Deerfield offer is still not complete at this time and is in review with the Deerfield HOA Attorneys. Marianne will send additional aerial maps of the Deerfield subdivision to John.
